Hi folks,after some months of not not being able to work on and improve MCNLive I would like to announce officially my decision to stop with the development of MCNLive. The reasons are changes in my personal life, preferences about spending time.
Creating LiveCD's based on Mandriva and working on the mklivecd scripts kept me very busy the last 4 years. It has been a great experience, in particular working together with testers and contributors was wonderful.MCNLive is the project of http://www.mandrivaclub.nl. And I hope they will find someone/people to take over from me and fill the gap as soon as possible. Help is really appreciated.

Regret aceasta decizie dar din pacate asa e viata si personal il inteleg, un proiect nu poate fi mentinut de o singura persoana la infinit.
Dacă MCNLive a însemnat ceva pe piaţa de profil atunci dezvoltarea ar trebui să continue natural. Aşa cum a zis şi Chris, altcineva să fill the gap.
MCNLive a murit? Sa-i fie tarana usoara!
Niciodata n-am inteles rostul unor distributii gen MCNLive. Cand a aparut PCLinuxOS, acesta a acoperit o lipsa a distributiei Mandrake - liveCD-ul. Dar MCNLive? Nu vad ce "lipsuri" a Mandriva a acoperit aceasta distributie, in afara probabil de mandria si orgoliul unora? Vorba aia: "mai bine presedinte in Cecenia decat prim secretar in Rusia", nu?
Mai bine dezvoltatorii MCNlive s-ar fi implicat mai mult in dezvoltarea Mandriva si in felul asta nu ar avea acum sansa sa arunce patru ani de munca.
MCNLive a murit? Who cares!?

din punctul meu de vedere MCNLive e(era) mai reusit ca PCLinuxOS...intradevar daca e dorit va fi continuat "natural" de altii
