Rezolutie monitor in framebuffer

As avea nevoie de un ajutor , mi-o explic:
Mandriva 2011.0, rosa 2012.0LTS si rosa 2012.1(devel) toate x86_64
( si pe alte distributii aceeasi problema)
Video card nvidia gforce 9600

Am un monitor de 32 de unghiutze 1080p, pina aici toate bune si frumoase in X am rezolutia HD, pe iesirea HDMI si pe DVI ( pe vga nu am incercat )
Problema este in framebuffer && tty ptr ca :

Framebufferul incarca in mod automat vesa , si vesa asta stie pe cardul meu...
Intrebare intrebacioasa , stie careva un petec un tip& trick ca sa pacalesc framebufferul sa-mi incarce alt driver, chiar si nuveau mi-ar fi bine ?
Sau orice alt mod de a seta o rezolutie decenta?
Am incercat cu un vesa recompilat din git ( unstable) nici un rezultat, tot aia imi ofera pe cardul meu...
Pasari la vmlinuz prin menu.lst vga=ask, 0, gol nici merita sa incerc ptr ca vesa asta stie ... :(
Orice help sau idee e bine venita....
