salut. am un stick usb Adata care face niste probleme foarte horror.
Adica nu reusesc sa-l formatez deloc.
Daca incerc cu fdisk nu vrea sa-mi stearga o partitie care exista pe el dar care e nefunctionala:
daca dau comanda:

Daca ma uit apoi pe disk e gol:

Apoi dau sa scrie partition table:
Command (m for help): w The partition table has been altered! Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table. Syncing disks.
Problema e ca daca intru din nou in fdisk, partitia e tot acolo!

Ceva mai brutal de genul shred sau dd nu ar fi eficient oare?
# shred -vfz -n 100 /dev/sda
# dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sda bs=1024k

incearca din mcc.
sau dupa ce stergi partitia, fa o alta partitie. si alege tipul pe care vrei sa il aiba partitia.
La inceput a fost . . . kernelul!

Am dat shred, e in mers pe celalalt comp.
La inceput mi-a dat niste erori, dar totusi a mers mai departe
Rezultatul a fost ceva de genul:
Tot asa continua pana la 249MiB (6%) - dupa aia nu mai da eroarea.
Sa vedem cand termina ce rezultat obtinem :)

Am incercat in MCC si dupa ce sterg partitia, fac alta (de ce tip vreau eu) cand intru inapoi mi-o arata tot pe aia necunoscuta. Am incercat sa-i dau si direct format din MCC dar nu merge - zice ca nu poate.
Am incercat si Gparted pe un comp cu gnome si ala cand i-am dat commit zice ca nu poate sterge partitia - error, bla bla bla...

shred-ul a terminat in final, dar stickul arata la fel - una bcata partitie care nu vrea sa dispara.
de fapt shredul scrie 0 pe toate sectoarele, dar problema mea este cred eroare in sistemul de fisiere...

Ok, e cumva un SanDisk? Daca da, cica unele modele au o partitie (U3) pentru nu stiu ce porcarie dedicata utilizatorilor Wingoze . Se poate sterge utilizand aplicatia downloadabila de aici.
Daca nu, incerci cu dd?
