Acea placa are un chip clasic care mergea parca si acu 5-6 ani cand am incercat eu. Stiu ca pe vremea aia era ceva buba si vedeam doar alb-negru, dar nu cred ca mai exista problema... Cum se numea chip-ul de pe el??? Ceva firma cu "C" parca ... DA! Conexant ... ceva.
PS: Nu ai nevoie de drivere, daca merge, merge implicit.

Am si eu un tv tuner asemanator cu al tau si iata ce trebuie sa faci:
- instalezi driverul placii video (implicit il configurezi)
- instalezi tv time
- instalezi lirc ca sa ai ceva suport ptr telecomanda
Pornesti tv time si pe ecran dai click dreapta cu mouse-ul si te apuci de configurat. Pentru Romania standartul de sunet este PAL si ca zona predefinita alegi Europe; la Brightness setezi valoarea de 40 si la Contrast alegi 25 optional saturatia la 40 (asta daca vrei sa nu te obosesti la ochi prea tare).

Bun dar de unde iau driverul ? in mcc imi spune ca il gaseste dar am instalat tvtime si nu am posibilitatea sa aleg tara spre exemplu :|

Din MMC -> Install & Remove Software -> cuvant cheie dupa numele driverului tau(nvidia, ati ce ai tu).
La tv time nu exista Romania, dar daca alegi "Europe" din lista vor fi folosite setarile ptr Europa de Est.

Wow...e o harababura mare pe acolo, dar sa incercam. Ca root tastezi urmatoarele comenzi :

tar zxvf firmware_v4.tgz
Apoi dai un restart si incerci sa vezi daca merge. Daca nu, mai sapam dupa solutii.

Am mers la acea adresa si am descarcat firmware_v4.tgz dupa care l-am copiat in /lib/firmware ( din root) . Dupa asta am intrat in consola si am facut exact cum ai spus mai putin pasul 2 care nu mai era necesar iar ca rezultat in consola s-a afisat asta :

Foloseste copy/paste la comenzi, ai pus v41 (1 - cifra) in loc de v4l (l - litera).

Configurarea PPPoE
Bun, e bine ce ai facut momentan. Acum porneste TV-TIME si incearca sa scanezi dupa canale. Foloseste PAL si Europe East. Daca nu merge, mai am o solutie pentru tine.
Inca nu vrea , voi incerca sa reinstalez tvttime si revin .

Am doar Europe fara east :) . acum imi afiseaza pe ecran no signal si scaneaza mereu

Cand pornesti Tvtime si apare meniul acela frumos, alege Input Configuration, apoi Television Standard, alegi PAL, apoi dai pe Restart with new settings.
Apoi incearca din nou sa scanezi. Daca totusi nu ai succes, incearca zapping in locul tvtime, este mult mai bun decat acesta.
urpmi zappingin continuare fara rezultat , se comporta de parca nu ar primi semnal cu toate ca pe windows merge perfect deci pot elimina semnalul de la cablu .
Daca folosesc kdetv imi spune ca nu a gasit nici un dispozitiv .

Apoi dai un restart si incearca din nou tvtime sau zapping. Metoda aceasta extrage firmware-ul necesar pentru tvtuner din driverul de windows. E ultima ta sansa, daca merge bine, daca nu...ghinion.
In sfârsit acum s-a gândit şi el să prinda ceva programe , multumesc :)

Cu placere, ma bucur ca s-a rezolvat.
da , acum ramane sa ma familiarizez cu el mai ales ca telecomanda nu functoneaza asa cum ar trebui dar cel putin acum stiu ca merge :)
