Ok daca mdv nu stie/poate ne organizam pe plan local ,
MARE ATENTIE
pachete ne testate decit in vm pe mdv 2010.2 x86_64, deci daca exista voluntari sa il testeze in lumea reala va rog

Kernel 3.0.0 NRJ for 2010.2: it works fine, even dkms-nvidia
I wrote about 3.0.0 here:

they're really too lazy...
next week, i wish to refine all and tune up to the max, only after I'll upload all files
I invite you to write something, leave a comment, about you ideas into 3.0.0 argument!
and I mean, here

Great work all of you making these custom kernels. Can't wait for a tested version so I can update without any risks.

installed on host , dkms nvidia builds like a charm , but no way to build vmware modules against it , not even with 29 patches applied ....and vmware tools likewise...mabe is too new for vmware :D
Unix is user-friendly. It’s just very selective about who its friends are
vmware ws 7.1.4: same results for NRJ, we need a newer vmware version!

Then fsck vmware, it's their problem. Use virtualbox or, even better, KVM. Good job!

finally ready and available, now only for 2010.2 64bit, others will follow

I'm still using nvidia 260. With newer versions KDE frozes at KDM. I cannot start KDE session. I`m able to input my user and password but that`s all. :(
I had the same problem with nvidia driver 260 but it(kernel 3.0) destroyed my Network-manager,I mean I had no internet connection...sorry for that,I was forced to reinstall mdv...
This is Linux land. In the silence of the night, you can hear Windows machines rebooting.
Nvidia 280.04 tested for kernel 3.0.0 are available
path:
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/64/experts/
ther folder is a repo, there are media_info folder and lists.cz, better to add it as a repo, making an update
within some hours, if all goes fine, there will be even 280.11

hai te rog io nu te mai baga la astea, nu era in nici un caz de reinstalat mdv , nu vreau sa iti faci rau cu mina ta , nu stiu de ce dar ma simt io vinovat ...te rog io mult
Cind e ceva definitiv si testat ok , hai fa-mi placerea asta ok ?

Network manager is screwed up here, too ... it says I have all my connections down, however I have them all up and running, so I just disabled it from staying in systray and all is working.
VDPAU + Games are OK, same as before, I can't see any big difference. KDE 4.5.3 + special effects + VDPAU with 1080p movies freezes the hole system as before, so this bug is still present (I don't know if it's NVidia's or KDE's fault), stopping special effects in KDE makes VDPAU behave as expected.

Hmm...allready 2 network-manager screw ups, sounds bad. Can you provide a 32 bit package? I`m eager to test it.
Network manager problem is due into a new way to comunicate of kernel 3.0
that network manager dont succeed to monitor, i cant do nothing, for now
for 32bit, tomorrow there will be all files for Mandriva 2010.2 32bit
- Pay attention on temp of your PC, it must be cooler than before:
especially if Laptop or Netbook that prevents dangerous cracks!
- Pay attention to battery life, should now last longer than before

this problem has been reported also by other guys, it was checked, and now it has been also fixed:
lists were prepared with 2010.2 so the lists were like corrupt: lists updated with 2011.0 and working!
