Open Mandriva2014.0 Lx RC1 lansata!

Echipa OpenMandriva s-a gandit sa faca un cadou frumos de Paste lansand versiunea RC1 a OpenMandriva Lx.

Aceasta contine intre altele:
kernel 3.13.10 nrjQ
KDE-4.12.4
LibreOffice 4.2.3.3
Suport UEFI boot
In locul MySQL s-a trecut la MariaDB 10.0

Un feature interesant pare sa fie UKSM - un sistem de management al memoriei RAM in kernel care incearca sa evite duplicarea datelor din memorie.

For all those people having Monitors with a wrong EDID, only allowing you 1024x768 resolution, even if you have a FHD capable display, we have added a new feature in the Kernel side and in the ISOs, now there are new 5 EDID firmwares for you...

Uite ce surpriză frumoasă! Bravo lor. Le-a luat ceva timp să se reorganizeze și acum cu îndrăzneală lansează a doua versiune. Îmi place că sînt KDEcentrici ;)
