Am nvidia MX 440. Am instalat pe Vector Linux "NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run" si am modificat xorg.conf asa:

Problema e ca nu merge.
Daca nu spui exact ce vezi pe ecran sau ce se intampla cand pornesti interfata grafica este putin probabil sa te poata ajuta cineva. Elementar.
intra in init 3. si porneste in mod text, nu da un mesaj anume.
Daca ajuta maine pot sa adux xorg.0.log
Deci daca dai startx nu da nici un mesaj ?!? Ciudat.

Va descriu maine mai exact, imi pare rau ca nu mai tin minte. Chestia e ca m-am uitat in xorg.0.log si dupa ce probeaza AGP 2X
da un mesaj de eroare si clacheaza.
Maine va aduc textul exact.
Cred ca la problema asta totusi gasesti mai usor solutie pe un forum unde sunt utilizatori de Slackware....oricum...
