conexiune internet

Buna ziua,
Numai ce am instalat si eu linux mandriva si am o nelamurire, fiind incepataoare(pana acum am lucrat numai cu windows), nu stiu cum sa fac conexiunea la internet. Am internet prin rds( digi mobil zte). Ma poate ajuta cineva cu niste informatii?

am incercat si varianta asta si totusi nu merge. :( eu nu am facut nicio setare pe linux mandriva, doar l-am instalat si primul lucru a fost sa imi fac conexiunea la net si nu ma lasa deloc. cand selectez GPRS/EDGE/3G imi arata ca nu poate fii gasit niciun dispozitiv pt aceasta conexiune. Ce as putea sa-i mai fac?

Nu ai specificat ce versiune de Mandriva linux ai instalat...In mandriva linux 2011.0 pachetul ptr a instala si/sau configura un modem vine gata instalat;in versiunea 2010.2 nu e instalat 'by default',asa ca trebuie sa dai comanda in terminal ptr instalarea lui.

In alta ordine de idei, ce model ZTE ai? Uita-te pe spatele lui si spune-ne care e modelul.

Inca ceva, dai la Tools -> Konsole apoi scrie (fara ghilimele) "su", dai Enter, scrii parola de root si iar dai Enter.
Acum infige stickul, asteapta cam 30 secunde si dai comanda: lsusb

Posteaza aici te rog ce apare acolo.

La urma, dai comanda: dmesg si la fel, dai paste aici la ce apare.

Acolo nu era Isusb, era lsusb, cu L de la lalea. Data viitoare, copiaza comanda direct din postul meu...

Asadar, cu stickul scos, dai lsusb, pune aici, apoi, infige stickul si dai iar lsusb si postezi aici.

Buun, acum stim cum "il

Buun, acum stim cum "il cheama" pe modem stickul ala!

Infige stickul in portul USB si dai comanda asta ca root (te rog sa o copiezi de aici, nu o scrie de mana):

usb_modeswitch -v 0x19d2 -p 0x0083 -V 0x19d2 -P 0x0117 -M "55534243123456782000000080000c85010101180101010101000000000000"

Apoi asteapta cam 30 de secunde. Ar trebui sa apara un mesaj ca si cum ai fi introdus un memory stick sau CD si modemul ar trebui sa "clipeasca" altfel.
Incearca apoi sa iti configurezi reteaua cum ti-am spus in primul raspuns...

P.S.: Daca apare vreun mesaj dupa ce ai dat comanda aia acolo, posteaza-l aici te rog!

dupa care am facut asa:

si merge internetul, dar dupa restart nu se vede modemul si trebuie sa scriu

apoi merge, ma puteti ajuta sa il fac ca sa se porneasca automat?
