As vrea sa stiude und vin erorile alea.
Sunt si pe kernelul curent (2.6.33.7-desktop-2mnb), si din modulele pe care le-a instalat buildul de v4l.

Nu am avut de a face cu tv-tunere pe Mandriva sau alt Linux, insa stand de vorba cu goagle am aflat pagina asta: http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Leadtek_WinFast_DTV_Dongle
Poate ajuta la ceva..
Am mai gasit si asta, mai specific pentru mandriva: http://forum.mandrivalinux.cz/index.php?topic=10817.0 -- doar ca-i in ceha, eventual tradu-l cu goagle translate.

Am incercat tot ce am putut...
instalare v4l, kernelul original mandriva...
nu ii dau de cap si se pare ca nimeni nu i-a dat...
teoretic totul e ok
practic nu recunoaste nici un canal...
trist...
mi-a picat placa video de la pc-ul de baza si aveam sistemul asta (de stocare) cu Linux.
speram sa am noroc sa vad campionatul de snooker...
se pare ca nu...

Pune sopcast si te uiti pe net ;) Nu arata la fel de bine ca pe tuner, dar e mai bine decat nimica.

Trebuie sa pun doar player-ul?
L-am instlat, pare ca pleaca, dar nu se intampla nimic...

Scuze, am fost neclar.
Am lansat aplicatia folosind shortcut-ul lor din pachetul de instalare.
Pentru vreo 20 de secunde 'tzopaie' pe ecran si dupa aceea dispare.
Nu se deschide nici o fereastra.
Ce si cum ai instalat? Daca ai setate mediile MRB (vezi scriptul din semnatura lui N3o) si ai instalat din MCC sau cu urpmi, atunci trebuie sa iti mearga. Descrie te rog exact ce ai facut si cum. Mersi.

Btw, incearca sa pornesti aplicatia din consola, cred ca o sa poti vedea eventualele mesaje de eroare

Salut,
Ma bucur ca sunteti inca pe aici.
Nu am reusit sa instalez player-ul, am incercat din pachetul lor, din surse.
Am folosit vlc si se vad, doar ca nu gasesc un stream pt. eurosport ro in romana - e in engleza. Am gasit Eurosport 2 in romana doar.
Va multumesc pentru sugestii.
Pacat ca nu mai e comunitatea straina asa activa ca pe vremuri... Daca as fi putut, macar sa stiu de unde se trage problema cu tunerul, poate reparam si ajutam si pe altii..
Stie cineva un stream de Eurosport 1 in romana?
Eurosport 2 este singurul in romana?
si la mine ( pe sopcast) eurosport1 e tot in engleza. Si acum e snooker, si il contrazic pe Csaba , se vede mai bine decit pe tv-tuner.

You're so funny! :D Of course I know English. I've used it since 1998 as software developer employed by some German company...
SopCast is nice. It offers advantages over my TV tuner, I can watch several channels at once. I can't scale the image to x2 though. I don't like that.
I do prefer Romanian Eurosport. I like the hosts (despite others).
I wrote this in English just to prove that I know enough to watch almost any show in English with no much effort. Sorry if I have offended somebody with this...

Vezi pe linkul ce ti-am dat mai sus, acolo intretinem noi asa babeste o lista cu canalele pe care le descoperim. La un moment dat a mers si in romana.

Asa ca am pus ce am gasit in Google.
Speram sa fie cineva care stie cu siguranta de vreun stream actual.
Eu n-am gasit.
