Linux Desktop - managementul pachetelor

Pentru a fi acceptat pe Desktop Linux trebuie sa ofere o maniera simpla de instalare a softwareului. Desi putin cam isteric scris, ca un indemn la lupta, imi place o fraza destul de concisa si adevarata: " Unwilling developers, zealous fanbase, and political reasons judge that Linux that does not belong on the desktop of home PCs." Cititi textul aici. Cred ca totusi pentru pachete RPM, Mandriva sta destul de bine gratie URPMI. Are interfata grafica, rezolva dependentele automat etc etc.
