Despartirea dintre echipa de dezvoltatiori si compania Miro care finanta proiectul open source Mambo a dus la nasterea unui nou CMS (Content Management System), si anume Joomla.
Joomla 1.0.0 va putea fi descarcat in curand de la adresa http://www.joomla.org si este bazat pe versiunea 4.5.2.3 a Mambo.
