editezi /etc/lilo.conf si schimbi optiunea vga=:

image=/boot/vmlinuz
label="linux"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd.img
append="acpi=on resume=/dev/hda5 splash=silent"
vga=788
read-only

pt semnificatia valorilor o sa mai caut si o sa vad. oricum 788 reprezinta 1024x768, 24 biti si nu mai stiu ce refresh :)

Daca erai atent la ce ti-a spus maaxx o rezolvai mai repede. In Mandriva Control Center -> Boot -> Set up how system boots dai un Next , selectezi kernelul cu care bootezi, dai Modify si in sectiunea Advanced iti alegi rezolutia si adancimea de culoare.

Este, dar cu sculele pe care le are Mandriva este bine sa fii dedicat unei metode sau alteia. Este posibil ca editand manual sa dai peste cap utilitarele din MCC.
